Week of 08/24/2008 

Tuesday, August 26th : Men's Bible Study will be meeting at the church beginning at 7 p.m.  We are still in our study of the book of Revelation.  Come out and enjoy this time of study together. 

Monday, September 1st : The Annual Durbin Bean Bake will be held at the Bean Bake grounds on Erastus Durbin Road.  Come out and enjoy the activities and food.

Septembers' Slice of Heaven food menu is now hanging in the foyer.  Check out the special items, there are some new items to select from, like a Tailgaters special and a Produce special.  You need to sign up before September 15th.

Sunday, September 21st : There will be a Bike Ride from Reynolds to Coldwater park beginning at 4 pm with a carry-in picnic at Coldwater park at approx. 5 pm (Casey Jones chicken will be provided).  Any questions contact Jeff Hayes. 

The sign up sheets are still hanging in the foyer for Nursery, Greeters and Housekeepers of God's house.  We encourage you to sign up today for one of these ministries of the church.  There are still plenty of lines to be filled up.

Each year one of the church's Trustees is in charge of signing out tables and chairs or granting permission to use the church or youth center facilities.  The trustee that you need to contact this year will be Don Stachler.  So if you would like to use any tables, chairs or facilities, Please contact Don.

Prayer Concern Box : As you come in for Sunday School or Worship, you can fill out a Prayer Concern slip and put it in the box.  At the appropriate time these slips will be taken to the pulpit.  Verbal prayer requests will still be taken.

As we leave the house of God, let us remember that we are not leaving His presence; we are entering into His mission field.  Go in peace and serve Him faithfully.
